Sister Mary Stigmata recommends you visit the City Hall Building and pay the orphanage's tax bill. And don't come back until you've redeemed yourself.

Oh Houndstooth. I do recommend it because if you collect koozies so they sell one for 40's...also they sell 40's. Haha! But the door guys are fricktards who think they bounce for Puff daddy or something. They manufactured a line the last time I was there. I guess I'm saying I'm a grumpy old man. Ha.

Also, if you're looking for late night grub Cheesie's on Belmont. It's nothing but grilled cheese and people watching.

Wrigley Field...you won't find it in any tourist guide or anything but trust me, it's a hidden gem.

Go to the rooftop club on top of The Wit hotel. Great views and women.

Went there a couple of years ago and Derek Jeter and some other Yankees players were hanging out. The females at this club were smoking.

Add the Shedd Aquarium and the Museum of Science and Industry to that list. All world class.

You might want to check the schedule at Ravinia (an outdoor concert venue in Highland Park) in case anyone's playing there you might like

Great suggestion. You can take the Metra from downtown and it lets you off right at the gate.

the Chicago architecture tour is actually really cool (and your wife will probably like it).

Take the architectural boat tour sponsored by the Chicago Architecture Foundation. It leaves from the dock at Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River. If you really feel adventuresome, take a Segway tour.

Like a previous poster said, wiener circle. Ask for the chocolate shake. You won't be disappointed.

most good spots/topics covered here.

Lolla is a lot of fun.

Another bar to check out is The Dark Horse. One of the best Beer Gardens in W-ville.
