I have a random question.

Lets say you were flipping a weighted coin that gets tails only 3.5% of the time.

What are the odds of: Getting tails 2/18, and what are the odds of getting tails 3/18 times, and what are the odds of tails 4/18 times?

For reference, 0 is roughly 52.65%, and 2 is about 34.35%, so 2+ is 13%, just wanna know the distribution.

Also, these dumb frickers can't get the order of operations right. Do you really expect them to grasp the nuances of probability?

You're welcome.

Just plug in the values to the probability mass function for a binomial distribution. Number of trials = 18 and the success probability = 0.035.

The number of successes k is 2

So what does the odds show up for 2/18 and 3/18?

So you want the probability of getting 2 out of 18 flips to be tails, right?

K=2, p=0.035, n=18
