no they don't.
It varies but "women make $.77 to every dollar men make on the job" was a huge talking point during the last elections.
I was exaggerating for the thread but your naive if you don't think there is a large income disparity between men and women doing the same jobs.

Obama was frauding hard - easiest way to get the female emotional sympathy vote because frick logic and common sense
SFP nailed it a few posts above..
if women actually earned 77 cents for every dollar of a man made, then why they hell would anyone ever hire a male?

there is no gap when you account for pregnancy. there wasn't even a gap back in the 70s. sowell did a lot of research on this
choosing to be a mother puts women behind the ball. they lose time during the pregnancy, doing motherly things day-to-day, and accordingly lose time in their profession (i mean maternity time each child is like a lost quarter of a year or so). some women take decades off to raise kids

Seriously? I could think of 100s of reasons just based on women's illogical emotions alone.

Sell shrimp or steaks out of the back of a truck.
Sell watermelon on the roadside.
Collect aluminum cans.
Robbery or burglary.
Be a pimp.
There is a lot a man can to to make extra money in his spare time.

There lies the answer to the question. For me (and likely most guys), selling shrimp out the back of a truck sounds more appealing than harassing friends/family to attend a "shrimp party", where I have to pay $50 a month to sell a certain distributors shrimp, and eat 50 bucks worth of shrimp myself each month to "qualify" for a bonus check.
