Uh you're a little late for this year. You have to join one of the sub krewes that make up the parade.

Nah, not all of them. I have a couple of friends who joined one of the sub krewes a few years back.

oh yeah, i had no intention of getting a quick membership and riding this year. i'm sure it may be a few years or so to join and i'm totally ok with that, i was just curious if anyone knew the process.

i did hear that joining a sub krewe might be a good place to start and that i should check out the athenians ball to network.

glassman handles most of the board's Mardi Gras Krewe requests. Although, I think someone else handles the new money ones like Endymion. I'm just not sure who that is. He's probably the go to on d'etat. Hit him up when he signs on.

He's already promised me a float spot in Comus, should they ever parade again.

You probably need a connection. It's a lot of prominent lawyers. Not old money on the level of comus but you can't expect to just sign up. Fwiw my gf used to walk in it.

I didn't really mean it as a dig from myself personally. More from glassman's type of perspective.

FWIW, it's the only one I've ever been in.

Although, I'm still patiently holding out for that Comus spot.
