frick that... weddings are expensive enough.
I hear you. But some people do it.
I'm just saying a Chris Reeve Sebenza knife is going to be held on to for life (and cost more than 200, FWIW) while the shite knife bought at the engraving store is going to get trashed. Same for flasks, or dop kits or business card cases or portfolios.
For 60 bucks, take them to a game or get them something they'll use that's more practical and less "wedding."

I got an ice chest with initials on it with a 6 pack of a beer I'd never had. He randomly asked in conversation what all of his groomsmens favorite kind of beer was and got one from OOS. It was cool.
Still use the ice chest.

So a softsided cooler, with groomsmen's choice of liquor or beer (already chilled), and $20 worth of scratch offs? Win?

My boyfriend got a nice, monogrammed soft ice chest that he uses all the time. It's pretty large, and it's very portable. He also got a nice pocket knife thing that has really come in handy a lot. The last one he got was a soccer chair thing with a built in soft ice chest underneath. Haven't gotten the chance to use it yet, but it seems like it'll be awesome for tailgating.

I got a nice little pocket knife with my name a few years ago and I carry it with me everyday now.
I've also gotten a beer mug with Gaelic knot and a pen set....neither of which have gotten much use at all.

Bag ice chest with initials or a pocket knife with initials. Use both of mine all the time.

Got one of these. Organizing tray for your dresser. I use it all the time. Good gift.

Hmmm. Am I your boyfriend?

I'd call that a win all day.

My brother's wedding was this past weekend and he gave us bottles of bourbon with our initials and best man/groomsman engraved on the front and on the back, it had a fleur de lis and the wedding date with their names. Pretty fricking sweet gift if you ask me.

I got my groomsmen each an engraved glass and their favorite liquor.
The one wedding I've been in so far the groom gave each of us a personalized wooden sign. Kind of like this sign, but each one had a different theme and use your name. Something cool to hang in a man cave if you have one.

Who decided groomsmen gifts had to have initials on them?

Even a small Sebenza 21 will run at least $350, and MAYBE one of the groomsmen will know how nice of a gift they received. My favorite groomsmen gift ever was a pocket knife, and it sure as hell wasn't a Sebenza!
If the OP's friends are the type of guys that can appreciate a pocket knife, maybe something like Benchmade, Spyderco, Al Mar, etc. may be more in line with his budget?

We gave ties to wear at wedding and cufflinks. It was actually pretty fun because we searched for cufflinks particularly for the guy's interest, so they were all different.
