Yes. That's the Catholic way. We congregate, we believe.
We believe God will provide, and Jesus Christ was God incarnate on Earth.
Why then, and hasn't returned yet. Very frustrating. Very.
We will prevail.
If not, I have no reason to live.
Really don't.
I'm a very, very lucky man, and give thanks every night and every morning.
I know this is not the norm, and do very little, but do, what I can.
I'm working on doing more.

Redbone, what is your advice to someone who is interested in joining? Not to step on alajones's toes.

Don't be so hard on yourself

Are there SlaveMasons as an alternative?
Posted on 7/18/20 at 9:59 pm to Tunasntigers92
I'm a proper Catholic. You should know that. Always give, and denounce heresy.

Very Protestant.
By that logic all fraternities, professional societies, charitable organizations, chambers of commerce, etc. are anti-Catholic. Because they all have members who join for networking purposes.

I'm a bit curious about the Freemasons and have considered looking into giving it a shot but there's have many theories on it and some people say its a pseudo-cult. Can anyone here shed some more light on it?
Are you a traveling man?

I'm just not sure who the heretic is here

In theory, you're correct. In actuality, you're correct. They do not correspond to the teachings of Jesus Christ. They smack of the Pharisees.
I was a member, however. Mea culpa. Thought it was cool, expected of my family and stature.
That said, let's get back to the subject. No?
Why so swerving and evasive of the topic?

A little. About once a year for vacation. Job wise I'm staying in this area though.

Damn so you were a member

No. I was in a fraternity. I mean to say, anything contrived to give a leg up, is not Catholic. This country is unique, and clubs or groups helped circumvent problems, given no history or logical hierarchy (purely economic and/or force), for sure. Inherently, as a concept, it's wrong.

if you are catholic the church still does not allow people to join them under risk of excommunication i think
The Church is too busy going after traditionalist pre-Vatican II Catholics to be bothered by Masons.

Swerving and evasive? I only have one post in this thread.
I thought it was odd that your major gripe with Freemasons appears to be the fact that they form a business network. You confirmed that you think all networking organizations are anti-Catholic. I just think it’s odd that nobody says “you can’t be Kappa Alpha and a Catholic.”

I have been to the east.

That's very odd. Masons never ask anyone to join...a man has to ask.

I suspect your petition was rejected! ??

Are you 80 years old? I believe that’s the average age of the ones I’ve met
