Are some Scientologist Freemasons ? Can you do both ?

On a serious note, one must believe in a supreme being to join. Nothing goes on in a Lodge meeting or Masonry that would interfere with your obligations to God or your family.

Charity is the chief goal.

Once you reach a certain point, you can join Shriners. They are probably the utmost charity organization in the world outside St. Jude's and many Lodges contribute to both Shriners and St. Jude's.

I know many Catholic Masons, Jewish Masons.

The cloak and dagger crap you read, the conspiracy crap, all fake news.

If you're interested, find a local Mason in your city and talk to him.

I’ve been approached twice - politely declined both times and it was as if I committed a personal affront to to these guys.

I thought the masons were some sort of secret gay butt sex thing.

I’m a Master Mason and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

Our boy scout troop is chartered through the masons.

Great group. Nothing cultish about it. They have traditions. But the service to the community and respect for one another makes them a great group.

A Catholic who is a proper Catholic, will refuse joining. You speak of tepid (not cognisant of their teachings, but mean well) or ignorant Catholics. You're full of shite.
