I've dabbled in it myself a few years off and on. The biggest crutch is definitely that one parent who thinks they run the damn league. Last year when I was coaching football we were rotating players on defense every few plays and the commissioner (who had a kid on the other team) said he received a complaint from the parents about the rotating, said it was violating the player participation rule. Our HC almost got relieved for telling the guy to take the participation rules and shove it up his arse

Do yall have any similar experiences?

I know. That's why our staff was pissed. Guy had a clear agenda, probably from his wife Karen.

Their was a coach on here a few years ago that was cheating on his wife, the OT found him irl and started posting it on his social media before he was able to delete everything.

Doesn't rotating the kids get more kids playing time?

I volunteered to coach little kids football at my kids elementary school, 4-5th grade, and was an paid coach when I taught middle school. I’m teaching high school now and all the kids call me coach, but I don’t coach anymore.

Never really had any parent issues. Sorry, not a cool story bro.

Well you were in a more professional coaching position. I've only co-coached rec so you get those soccer moms who think they're the refs.

That’s doesn’t make any sense

Wouldn’t rotating players mean more kids are participating?

Is the rule against participation?

Guy said every kid should play a full drive. Which basically means you'd have the same kids playing the same positions for at least one half. The guy just wanted us to keep the kids on the field to get tired if you ask me, which is what happened.

My son and Sean Payton’s son played on the same team in Mandeville. This is when Sean and his wife were still married. The mom shared all too often how her son should be playing because his dad was Sean Payton or how good the kid was because he was Sean Payton’s son, etc. The kid, poor kid, was visibly embarrassed every single time. My mother was at a game and the wife started in as usual. I was on the field coaching. And I heard the side line erupt in laughter. Come to find out my mom had enough of Sean Payton’s wife and told her to give it a rest and that evidently the kids not that good since he’s not playing which caused the folks around her to crack up laughing.
