I was a few hours short of a Chemistry minor and, like a lot of subjects, the professor makes the difference between interesting or not. I was in a hobby shop that used to be a short distance from campus one day and noticed my Organic professor was there too. I introduced myself and I enjoyed the class. I think I bought and F-4 Phantom model that day.

My plant is constantly hiring the lab instrument tech position. Lab tech is harder to get because it’s a cake job. Only ones I know leaving are retiring.

I have a chemistry degree from LSU. We didn’t make *that* many drugs in lab courses. The BS degree was pretty tough imo, but worth it. I’ve been doing R&D in industry for 10 years now and couldn’t be happier with how it worked out.
