Buy a top of the line Tundra. Will last you as long as you'll keep that diesel anyway

quote:Not really sure. I mostly use it to check prices from sales at auctions to give me an idea of what the value of certain vehicles are. The auction prices are nationwide. They actually list every auto you search for that has been sold in the previous month and give mileage, condition, price it sold for, and auction location.
Do you know where Manheim gets its retail numbers? Is it an estimate or based off local sales?
Their retail prices seem kinda high to me and I don't know where they get them from. I don't really use them.
Like anything else, retail prices are predicated on what the market will bear. Supply and demand. Used truck prices are kinda crazy here in South Louisiana. It's not like there's a shortage of used trucks, but prices are crazy. People are trying to retail 5-10 year old crew cab 4x4's with 100-150k miles for $15-20k. It's insane.

Texas hasnt been any better than Louisiana on better prices. Basically, they all say internet prices are no haggle, bottom dollar sell price. I imagine all these better deals in Texas are people going to the lot in person and the dealerships dropping it down to the internet prices
