or Porsches.

Nothing wrong with it of course, but you know what I mean. I saw a guy well into his 60s the other day in a brand new Porsche with his hands at 10 and 2 o'clock poking down the road and stuck out like a sore thumb. It made me real uncomfortable to look over there at him, and he was trying so hard too.

Never gotten any trim b/c of the Vette.

Had a six months pregnant hotel maid ask for a ride b/c the "the vette gets 'em wet".

I'm 45. Just be yourself. If you're comofortable in who you are and what you wear you'll be fine. If you're constantly worried about trying to please everyone else you won't be comfortable and it will show in your lack of confidence.

Good luck!!

P.S. Dating sucks

They should rename this thread "How to look, dress, and act like a douchebag."

Be yourself. Wear polos and shorts all the time if you want. Be a little eccentric and adventuous. Act like you don't give a shite what people think about you. The ladies will find you.

Oh, and it helps if you have a law practice.

I hope not! I have already started dating and it has its ups and downs (no pun intended). I find most women in my age bracket 40-55 are only looking to get married.

No...just date. If someone asks you that question on the first or second date, it's a red flag. There's a natural progression to dating now just like there was before you got married. And don't continue dating someone you know you have no interest in just because you don't want to be at home on a Saturday night. It's not to want to marry the first person you meet and it's ok to be single.

this is not true of all women in that age group. If you're not looking to get married, then don't get married. If someone is looking for that and brings it up, have the balls to say "No thanks" and not go out with her again.

That is hard to do. The fringe benefits are hard to turn down and it sucks sitting at home on a Sat. night.

All say they want me to be exclusive with them if we are having sex. Is that a code word for married?

WTF? The 911 has been the purest sports car made for decades. It still consistently wins best "driver's car" in sports car shootouts. Porsche clubs flourish across the country, and they are full of guys of all ages who regularly participate in track days and club racing. Sure, there's the occasional tool who buys one as a status symbol...

No. It means they want to be in a committed relationship if they are having sex. If you don't want that, then don't have sex with them.

And if you don't have the balls NOT to go out with someone you don't like, then you kind of deserve what you get.
