MSNBC reported these fires were due to climate change, and Trump hadn’t done enough to stop it

Tell that to the cops that are arresting these terrorists.
I’m sick of the left wing media hiding radical left wing violence from their viewers.

We got another one! Great job Trooper Morefield. A pedestrian decided to match light the grass at SR-512 and SR-7. Citizen observed and alerted 911. After a short foot chase, one is in custody and on his way to jail

This link takes me to a tweet not related to arson, did you link the right tweet?

Weird how it's not happening so much in Canada
That's mostly due to rain

In British Columbia and Alberta, a lot of rain has reduced much of the wildfire risk this season. Karley Desrosiers, a fire information officer with the B.C. fire service, pointed to wet weather that soaked deep into the ground — the precipitation “really helped mitigate the number of fires.”
Flannigan explained this has to do with the jet stream air currents that led to dry weather in the western United States and Siberia, and a soggier summer in western Canada.

If the fires were started intentionally and 29 people have died wouldn't that be murder instead of arson?

Quietest since the '90s...
If they've had years of "extreme fire seasons" until this year (according to your own post), couldn't that cause much of the underbrush to be taken care of, resulting in less out of control fires this year? Controlled or uncontrolled burns result in the same future protection against out of control fires.
Also this, from two posts above...

I got called stupid on this board when I questioned the party line that the electrical grid was starting wildfires in California. I think it was coming from those wackjobs who somehow end up on an LSU sports board despite their claims to be living happily on the West Coast.
I'm still not sold on the claim. I mean, I've heard of a lot of things starting fires, but somehow I made it 40+ years on this planet before being told that power lines were doing it.
EDIT: And this isn't to say it's physically impossible for some chain-of-events involving a power line to start a fire. That's absurd. All I am saying is that arson is responsible for more fires. If I had to guess at how many more, I'd say it's probably a factor of at least 1,000. It's just much more palatable for some people to blame the mean old electric company.

But to go back to James Woods' tweet... you're telling me that climate change has become so severe that it has dried of the PNW causing these fires to be more severe yet just north of the region and across the border the effects of climate change are suddenly no where to be found and in fact BC has seen an above average amount of rainfall?
Again, I'm not asking you if 2 different areas can have 2 different weather patterns at any given time or some dumb shite like that. But if you're going to say that fires in the PNW are made worse because of climate change shouldn't nearby areas also be suffering similar effects - even in years when BC isn't receiving so much rain?
Or is it perhaps there are plenty of fires in BC and PNW annually yet policies on our side of the border have made the PNW more vulnerable?
I didn't say anything about climate change, for one. The fires stop at the US border because it is a fire map of fires IN THE US... Canadian fires aren't included in the filter, therefore they aren't shown on the map. Very simple answer.
The weather across Canada and previous extreme seasons have caused a drop specifically in Canada, therefore, climate change is irrelevant in this argument, no matter what your stance is on that particular politically driven subject.
The "James Woods" poster, knew that map was a US filter, yet still posted it, because it fits a particular narrative. You ate that shite up instead of thinking for yourself or gaining an informed opinion. I'm not a Democrat, have never voted for one, but that doesn't mean I have to mindlessly believe everything that fits my political views. It's far more important to be informed than biased.

I’m sure it’s possible, but it’s really unlikely especially with so many popping up.
