You can use any circular logic you want, but the statistics don't follow the trail you're putting down. Ahh yes the old fall back on the 2a. Look I'm not the one making the legal case to repeal it, you are.
You obviously don't know the definition of circular logic and no one has advocated repealing the Second Amendment - that's called a strawman.
Why can states outlaw the private ownership of a tigers, lions, etc. without constitutional ramifications but not pitbulls?

I'd have killed the Pit, I'm always armed.
The breed needs to be exterminated.

On another note, pits and other big dogs are not for inexperienced passive owners.
If were gonna outlaw pits may as well get rid of guns, alcohol, freedom of speech, all big dogs, large vehicles. Amirite comrade?
Fact is they serve zero purpose! Zero!
Every function a pit is capable of doing another breed of dog can do just as well except maybe kill.
It is a disfunctional breed that should not continued any longer.
When dangerous things do not meet a purpose we stop making them:
If Smith and Wesson made a pistol that 5% of the models exploded in your hand....they would discontinue it.
The breed's risk of attack greatly outweighs its usefulness. Time to discontinue it.
It is time to neuter and spay this breed into extinction.
If you disagree....then please give a good reason why we need pitbulls to continue to exist? What purpose do we need them for that other breeds fail to accomplish?

Awhile back a neighbor's pitbull came in my yard and was headed straight for me but I went on the other side of a fence. I could tell from its body language it was going to attack me. I yelled at it to get out of there but it wouldn't budge.
Finally it turned around and started heading home so I got in my truck and ran its arse over in the road.

I think you responded to the wrong person. I didn't write This text
And I didn't cite any statistics

quote:
Your analogy is flawed. Banning guns would be akin to banning dogs. Banning a breed is like banning a type of weapon, which has been done. Also, the Constitution doesn't specify the right to bear pit bulls.

No no, you brought up statistics so I followed through

It's funny that you're so stupid, you don't know how to interpret my post without resorting to some personal attacks.
What more is there to interpret? I sensed white trash, I called you out on it, and you responded just a tad too vigorously, so I know I was right. I'd say my interpretation was spot on.
Now, how wide is your trailer and how closely are you and your girlfriend related?

He needs a pit bull to keep someone from stealing one of the seven junk cars in his front yard
Posted on 6/25/17 at 3:15 pm to pinkpanther12
Just a leash? Needs one of those full body things but even that can be hard to control when in attack mode. Also, it's like nothing phases them when they are in that aggressive mood.
Sorry to hear this.

I've seen a lot of bullshite that didn't happen, but this one is the best.

Someone downvoted....but I see no answer to my question?
I have yet to see a reasonable explanation why the reward outweighs the risk of the breed existing.

I'm not lying, that fricker came up in my yard like it owned the place. I didn't have a gun on me or I would have shot it right there in my yard.
After it left my yard it started jogging down the road towards the meth heads that owned it. So I seized the opportunity.

And yes I am fully aware of how dog attacks work. I was attacked by a black lab that'd had gotten loose when I was 5. At 30 I still have the scars on my face.
Any dog can bite, if the nurture is wrong. Well adjusted Labs basically never bite. The problem is the nature of the pit bull can be stronger than the nurture and a well adjusted Pit Bull's bite is far more lethal than other dogs.
For some reason Pit Bull owners won't admit the obvious, which is that they want one because of their reputation. It's obvious because they don't stand out from other breeds in any way other than deadliness and unpredictability.

I don't like calling names or judging people but the worst and most selfish people I know are obsessed with these dogs
I do have a good friend who was very anti pit bull who recently converted bc of a relationship with an owner of one
I know Canada recently had some stricter laws passed about pitbull ownership
Pretty interesting if anyone else knows

Pregnant girlfriend? You're gonna leave when that baby is born I bet. Do the baby a favor and take the killer dog with you, trashball.

Insurance companies have risk down to a science. If such companies increase premiums because of certain dog breeds, then there's a good reason for it.

Saw a bunch of these back when I worked ER. We'd get a call and the receptionist would come back and write BDLD (big dog little dog fight) so we knew what was coming in. Not always a pit representing the BD but a lot of times it was. The outcome was usually not very good

"bully breeds" says it all
They are called Nanny dogs in England bc they are great with children. Have you ever seen "The Little Rascals"? Know what kind of dog Petey was? How about the RCA dog? Both American Pit Bull terriers. It was the most popular dog at the time.
