No, I think the point he is trying to make is that the real underlying issue in Ferguson and other places as well, like the Cleveland kid, is the use of aggressive police tactics. Cops that have the sole mentality of shoot first, and ask questions later "so long as I go home at night" and that is the wrong attitude to have as someone that's supposed to be serving the public. Instead, the issue became race related and the true issue, the aggressive tactics, are being buried under piles of racial BS.
