I read the whole story.

The weird thing is even if she didn't lie, her story of racism and harassment doesn't even make sense. The cop asked her a couple questions to verify that she was a student basically. He was very chill and laid back.

Back in the day, black people were forced to work as slaves from the day they were born til the day they died. Black people literally had no rights, could not vote. Some people actually were lynched or beaten for the color of their skin. There's plenty more fricked up shite that black people once had to endure in this country.

Yet this girl all of a sudden think she is a modern day Frederick Douglas or Malcolm X, just because a cop slightly inconvenienced her for a full minute.

That honestly really pisses me off.

So, we all know this story is bullshite. This woman is a vile piece of fricking shite. The New York Times knows this, yet, they still frame her version not as the lie it is, but as this:

quote:

The story highlights the tensions between a student’s deeply felt sense of personal truth and facts that are at odds with it.

Gobbledygook made up words. Truth doesn't require your feelings or personal input...it IS.

My deeply felt sense of personal sobriety is 6 bourbon drinks a night.
