If you're wearing sneakers and have no combat training that includes kicking as a weapon, that will not work, IMHO.
I very much fear these kinds of dogs. Include me in the group that says that they serve no useful purpose whatsoever , they are destructive and should be bred out of existence.

Watching the cuck dog owner was the most infuriating part. Prime example of what is wrong with society today. I want to mercilessly kick that POS in his balls until they bleed.

When I was a kid, our cocker spaniel followed us down to my neighbor's house one night. My neighbor had what he called an american bulldog. The bulldog had gotten loose and had the cocker spaniel down before we knew it. My dad was hitting the bulldog in the head with a piece of pipe. He was hitting him hard, but trying not to kill him (we were in his yard, and friends with the owner, after all). The dog's owner was telling him to hit harder. I don't know how the bulldog wasn't dead. But, it wouldn't let go. My dad switched tactics and got the pipe between the bulldog's jaws and pried them open. We were pretty close to having to kill the bulldog.
Anyway, I agree, you can kick and hit them all you want, but anything short of killing them or prying their jaws open, like we did, isn't going to work with those bully breeds.

If you’re a male in relatively decent shape and can withstand some pain (from getting bit and gnawed on) you can choke out a pitbull. It wouldn’t be easy and it would take a few long minutes, but you can do it.
Most people likely just panic from the initial attack and pain so they just continue to get ate up.

A pitbull ran at me and my daughter once, my mastiff made that mutt piss itself while it ran for its life. Mastiff caught it, but submitted the pit without touching it. Pit knew instantly it was outmatched. Mastiffs are serious non-aggressive protectors.
