hilarious that i'm the arrogant one... and not the guy who said he's better and stronger than me for being sober for a few years after decades of alcoholism

Understood I'm not a competitive athlete - but I do run 6 days a week 3 miles a day on those days, so I can drink beer without it compromising any training. I just run to stay fit so basically I can still drink beer and eat the foods I like to eat.

I rarely drink anymore but I do enjoy it. There was a time in my 20’s when my Friday nights consisted of drinking a 6 pack and a fifth of vodka. At least I wasn’t using pills because all my friends who were doing that are dead. I’m still kicking.

12/15/23 was last sip for me. I’m 34 and looking forward to rest of my life without hangovers.
