This will be a validation of sorts for the South. While many names will be located in the southeastern section of the U.S., many will be shocked to see how many are northerners Midwesterners and westerners.
Eta: will be interesting to see how many politicians names pop up.

i would bet that the group has held on to the information for a while

I imagine an extortion effort takes place first for the handful of people on the list who care. I'd be surprised if there were several thousand active Klan members still around.
