Did anyone else read the questions in their head in a Alex Terbek voice? I caught myself doing that like 10 questions in.

Anybody take the test tonight? I pushed mine back a day for my dumb kid's stupid basketball practice. If anyone took it, how was it this year?

A guy I know went on College Jeopardy representing LSU a few weeks ago. They filmed it all and he isn't allowed to talk about it until it airs.

I'm taking it tomorrow. A gal in my neighborhood was on it several years ago. She says she always crammed more on American Presidents than any other topic because it has been proven as over-represented.

It kind of sucks that the qualifying tests for the show really only focus on like 40-50% of what's relevant to winning on the show. I'm confident that if I got on, I would have better than a 1/3 chance of winning any given game. However, I'm highly confident I'll never get better than 25 or 27 out of 30 on these practice tests.

You can have average (relative to the show) trivia ability but way above average betting and gamesmanship skills and still win.

Cringed at French Authors because I only knew one. Then the question was about Jean valjean.

Missed all the pop culture stuff.

Jean Valjean is from Les Miserables by Hugo

Maybe you guys didn't get the same question?

Also, they asked a question that I answered correctly, but probably not on the actual show...they would have to correct scores at a pause in the game.

I got a question about the Himalayan Mountains at the northern part of India.

They asked about the high region there. I said "The Himalaya".

And then there was a mistake on their end. For chemistry they said, "BA is a metal..." And they should have used the proper symbol which is ALWAYS capitol letter then lower case letter. Otherwise, they may have confused the participants by giving them a molecule instead! Like HF vs Hf
