Yes, you’re correct.

I do think it’s hard to narrow it down definitively, and it’s not necessarily political, but several things have brought about this age of idle & aimless straight men:

1. The widespread adoption of critical theory in all of its forms across major cultural institutions (this has been ongoing for 3+ generations).

2. Cultural neglect towards the sacredness of marriage (not exclusively about gay marriage - although that was a part of this phenomena).

3. The rapid sexualization of almost everything in the 21st century. One of the greatest tricks pulled by misogynists is making women believe that their liberation came through self-objectification. Fascinating stuff.

These aren’t exhaustive by any means but it does help explain a ton of our societal disintegration.

Serious question, do you really believe this? I have 3 sons aged 19, 27 and 27 (twins) and I dont see that at all with them or their peer group.

If anyone spent some time actually listening to what he says for more than a 30 second tik tok clip, they'd see that he's saying some things that are helpful to that demographic that's currently twisting in the wind.

For most people, they can't get past the arrogance, narcissism, and cheesy Eurotrash persona. I watched his interview with Patrick Bet-David and, in long form, you can tell he doesn't really believe in his persona like he portrays in his short clips.
