Combine that with the fact that Southern Nevada has a huge water shortage problem due to Lake Mead drying up

Fun fact: Vegas pulls very little water from the lake. Vegas actually has an elaborate system of capturing rain water to use for its supply. It is a lot better off than most cities in the SW.

And the city is blowing and going right now. A ton of people are fleeing Cali for no income tax Nevada.

Likely Blackrock and Vanguard shell companies or straw buyers.

This is a serious question. If you are against this does that make you not a capitalist?

I consider myself to be a capitalist, I think its better than the alternative, but in situations like this it hurts people. It benefits few while hurting the majority, which is similar to communism.

How does it hurt people? There’s this myth created by liberals that owning a house is a right, it’s not. People aren’t living on the street without tons of very poor choices. There’s plenty of people that can afford to buy a home right now it’s just not the home they ‘want’, usually because it’s not nice enough or not in the perfect location for them.

There’s absolutely no one in Vegas this prevents buying a house. Vegas is not a big town and commutes from anywhere in the city are very reasonable. There’s tons of land so home values really aren’t bad at all.
