I love how CNN had an article on Schumer a couple of years ago with this lead in:
"Known for her smart, raunchy, no-holds-barred comedy, Amy Schumer"

Why would she choose such a memorable joke like Atell's? I don't listen to much comedy but I remember that one.
She is related to democrat senator Schumer so maybe he hooked her up with Joe Biden for writing tips.

I love how she says she's "leading" women when Lisa Lampanelli has been doing this for much longer and much better than she could ever hope to. I would tune into roasts solely for Lisa Lampanelli and she'd slay every single time. frick Schumer and I cannot wait for her 15 minutes to be over.

The first time I saw her, she was on a roast on Comedy Central and she was actually pretty funny. I saw her another few times and thought she had some decent jokes and I still laughed. But over the years, I've found her less and less funnier. To me, she's now less funny than ever before. She's overexposed and being held up as some sort of symbol by women and I don't understand it.

She's not funny, she's not pretty, yet works in an industry where those two traits are paramount. It makes no sense 
And, for the record, I'm admittedly very easily entertained. Doesn't take much to make me laugh, nor do I consider myself an exhaustive critic of comedy, but she is cringeworthy.

It is strange how some comedians get blasted for steal jokes, while others don't.
I know that Lewis Grizzard "borrowed" at least one story from Jerry Clower - the story of the college student who convinced his dad that the school had a program to teach the family dog to read and talk.

Attell and Chappelle have more comedic intuition in their respective pinky toenails than Schumer has in her entire body.

There were some similarities but it want the exact rip off I was expecting. She's not funny. I'm more appalled that she tried to fit into that outfit. She looks like a piece of sausage ripping through the top of the casing.

Yeah, she still sucks. I won't give her my time to watch any of her stuff. But this criticism of stealing jokes, at least the ones in this thread, is a huge stretch, and everyone is just instantly accepting it because it just confirms what they already want to think. Those jokes are really old themes that almost definitely didn't even originate with Chappelle and Attell.
