USPS likely lied so they didn't have to deliver. They fricking suck. I've had several late packages from Amazon after they did their contract with USPS. Never any problems before.

Complain to amazon customer service and tell them that. Maybe if enough of us complain, they won't renew their contract with USPS.

USPS didn't deliver a box of toilet papers to me once because they said it weighed too much. Honestly I'd rather get a discount and just have them leave it at a UPS store for me to pick it up rather than deal with USPS.

Yep. I get everything shipped to work and the lady makes me go get it out of the truck myself.

Same mail person who tells me it's not her job to go around knocking on resident doors with packages, so she sends them all back undelivered...

Your anal beads will have to wait another day or two. The world is a tragic place.

I've really had no problems from Amazon. I spent a few thousand over the past couple of years, it's sounds like a problem with the delivery service.

If I were you I'd screen shot the notifications and email them to customer service, which I've personally have never had to contact.

I just started having problems since USPS started doing deliveries and I use Amazon a ridiculous amount. Things have been late, but they've never been returned because USPS just couldn't be bothered to deliver it. That's why I started this thread. I wanted some feedback to see if people in other places were having issues or if I just have the worse postal employee who hasn't shot anyone.

It was a very large purchase for work that I need Monday morning that I can't get here. Sorry no sex toys. You can get those here. I sent it to my house in case it got here late Friday or the rest of the weekend since the actual delivery date listed isn't happening now.

I complained to customer service per the advice here, and thank y'all for that. Initially Amazon just told me that I had to take it up with the carrier. Eventually they refunded everything and offered next day shipping that won't get to me in time. But they did tell me to correct my address that wasn't ever wrong. And now I have to send them everything that I've ever ordered that didn't arrive on time. Because they can't look at my account and figure that out. it would be too much work for them.

TL;DR if you have issues with getting your prime stuff on time, or at all from the USPS, say something immediately and every time, threaten to quit prime, and maybe they'll quit using USPS.

I always get nervous when they hand it to the local USPS location for delivery. They screw it up a lot.

You answered your own question. The item delivered by UPS and the USPS failed. The only shipping problems I've ever had with Amazon have been bc of incompetence with our good old USPS. Including the address doesn't exist BS you've got. Every time I made Amazon send a replacement item via UPS or FedEx

You're dealing with the quasi-governmental agency that has bled money for the last several years. Do you expect perfect service?

. I hate when I order anything from Amazon and the USPS ends up with the delivery.

Only the government with an agency that is losing money will agree to Sunday delivery at discounted prices on a day when their employees are normally off.

These union employees will get paid DT - ONLY the federal government thinks this business model will get them out of debt

If I need a letter or PKG delivered overnight or in two days it is not sent via USPS

About 50% of my packages delivered by USPS arrive 1-2 days late. I send an email to Amazon every time and they add a free month of Amazon Prime. So basically I get Amazon Prime for free.

The only thing worse than USPS is FedEx. UPS is best.
