To many people who get the current strain of covid it is like seasonal allergies.
I am mid 50's, in good health and had it about a month ago. I have had hangovers far worse.
Was tired for a couple of days.
Good luck. Stay hydrated, get some exercise, and plenty of sleep.

Original Covid was like a bad flu(except for the outlier cases). So at 80, you might have been fricked. Covid now is like a bad to mild cold, so you should be fine, but sometimes even the common cold kill’s people on their 80s
