you could be the best person on the planet and it would still mean nothing. The absolute best you can do is crap.

This exact thing happened to my dad. The worker had much wiser guidance for him.
She said, "Don't do that, baby. People do that all the time. It's so stupid."
It's sage advice he has used countless times since.

Could you have asked what they ordered before paying it forward?
Just curious, I tend to agree with your decision. I’ll help anyone, but don’t try and make me feel like I owe people.

said thanks! And drove off. I think if it were just a single person or maybe a couple I would have played along, but there was no way I was going to pay $40 or $50 for God knows how many meals because the person in front of me paid for a coffee.
Just say no

Your behavior has been deemed hurtful and 1 point has been subtracted from your social score.

The most a mini van can carry is 7 passengers. Very few carry 8.
So let’s say 8 happy meals at $3 a piece.
That’s $25
Pussy. Pay it forward.
You're failing bad in some areas outside your expertise.
8 kids will run you $50 by the time you get them little MFers what they want.
OP did right thing. McDonald's coffee is very popular on its own when you see the lines and at Starbucks next door and you just want a large black coffee.

That seems cheap. Our little shite wouldn't eat off of the kids menu much past about age 7.

First of all you’re not fitting 8 kids in a mini van legally
Secondly I just posted the menu and prices for McDonalds Happy Meals.

sucks to be a poor
That’s the bottom line here. Many of these posters ITT seem to be poor based on their expertise in the McDonald’s menu.
All had to do was Google to just to see how poor they are

I can get 8 Sausage and Egg McMuffin Combos, (hashbrown and Coke) for $40.
I fed an entire high school baseball team (20 kids) with Taco Bell, 100 Tacos for just over $100
