OP did right thing. McDonald's coffee is very popular on its own when you see the lines and at Starbucks next door and you just want a large black coffee.

In fairness..I stopped at a Mickey Ds in Newland, NC a few months ago..ordered an EggaMaMuffin...7 fricking dollars almost. Couldn’t believe it.
