No
Homeless guy hassled Sterling for a handout
Sterling threatened homeless guy with gun
Homeless guy called Police and reported the gun
BRPD in that area knew Sterling, knew he was a felon, were told by dispatcher he has a gun on him
Sterling was tasered when he became belligerent
I think Sterling shook off two Taser shots
That is when they tackled him and the struggle on the ground began

You said store owner called the cops
I don’t think that is right
Pretty sure the first call to the police was by the homeless guy that Sterling threatened with the gun

Toxicology report could provide some context to Sterling being belligerent, shaking off a taser and resisting to the point that made him an imminent threat and got him killed

The store owner is a big winner in all of this since they turned his store into a sacred place for the fall of saint sterling. Would love to see his sales pre and post death

This is America. Even the homeless have cell phones.

I guess its just funny to me that a homeless person used their cell phone to call the cops.

Poverty in America.
That’s why poverty stats in the US are a joke. Especially to the rest of the world.

Seeing on the map where Triple S is located made me realize how poorly I know the layout of North Baton Rouge. It might as well be another city.
