Just read a rant. Some idiots out there claim Louisiana has open carry laws and Sterling wasn't breaking the law by pulling his gun on the homeless guy.

ARE.YOU.FRICKING.SERIOUS.CLARK?

Not to mention felons can't possess a firearm.

Your thought process is ridiculous. Obviously, if the killing is justified (the question at hand), nothing else matters.

But, most people recognize that it's not clear whether or not the killing was justified. As such, they want to weigh all pertinent evidence to try and answer that question. I personally think it's VERY relevant what drugs if any showed up in the toxicology report.

Do you really not understand this?

BBM. It is pertinent to me as well. He was at a level of meth that is medically known for violent and irrational behavior. That is another strike against sterling and proving the officers were completely justified in shooting him. He had been tazed twice (meth can make people somewhat immune to tazers as can the morbid obesity that alton had.)

Even after being shot in the chest 3 times, the mf'er still sat up and was not complying and was shot 3 more times.

He wasnt going to stop till somebody died.

We got lucky. It was the POS who died.

I quoted this from the report today.

"The toxicology report indicated that blood levels of 200-600 ng/mL have been associated with methamphetamine abusers who exhibited violent and irrational behavior.

Sterling's blood level for Methamphetamine was 280 ng/mL which clearly indicated that he was under the influences of a combination of illegal substances."

People are acting like this toxicology report should make or break the case

It could depending on the drug. Weed or heroin typically calm and relax the body making the person more compliant and more easily subdued. Whereas meth, cocaine and PCP can give a surge of adrenaline where the person feels very little pain, seems to have a bizarre amount of strength and makes tasering or trying to put them a hold completely useless.
