You might need to make an appointment with a different kind of Dr....One with a couch.

I hope if one day you need advice someone helps you the same way.

If I come to the OT for serious advice, I deserve exactly what I get. You don't need help with your bald spots, you need help growing thicker skin, especially if you hang out here.

My wisdom teeth have came in

You been in and out of the military and your wisdom teeth are just now out? I had mine and the associated issues by the time I was 15.

I called my doctor, and waiting to see the doctor.

Probably should have stuck with that plan. Maybe ask your boyfriend to go with you to the appointment in case you get scared.

Already see them, and thanks for that not being my fault.

Just because it's a message board doesn't mean you have to go and talk shite to someone on the other side. Yes I knew this would happen.

Yes did 10 yrs in the Marines. And I'm very surprised they never removed them. I can't control when teeth come in.

On this board, it is pretty much required. About the only topic off limits to the normal treatment is terminal type illnesses and death....Not "I can't really grow a full beard". Might as well come in here asking how to get your boyfriend to stop laughing at your tiny wiener.

I have a friend who has it. He had a doctor tell him to massage olive oil on the spot. No idea why. There are a number of home remedies for you to try on you tube using garlic cloves, onion juice, etc. Good luck

Again any advice is welcome I shave everyday to try to minimize it, but in my opinion it still looks horrible, and honestly affects my personal confidence when I'm out and about.

Yeah I noticed it a long time ago but didn't want to hurt your feelings. You should hear some of the nicknames for you

frick it. No big deal. Just something you have to deal with. I can't grow a beard because of a gigantic messed up area on my cheek where I had to have skin cancer removed at age 33. Is what it is and I assure you no one notices it more than you do yourself.

Was diagnosed with it last December. Couple bald spots on back my head and small ones on my face. Don't be like me and wait to go to a dermatologist. My spots are just getting back to normal after injections and topical ointment.

cortisone shots

^^ gotten them off/on for the past 15 years (scalp). some years multiple times, every six weeks or so.

other years...no dr. visits needed. I've taken the tablets before, but the injections are obviously localized...pills no so much.

but again, this is for my scalp.

smear some dog shite on there. it will fill in the bald spot and then work like fertilizer to make it grow thicker

In a thread full of pseudoscience, this is the only evidence-based solution.
