So not only does the new airport terminal bring us a on-property traffic circle, we are also going to get a diverging diamond interchange to help you BR-bound travelers get home faster, and help you North Kenner citizens get to work easier.

This is gonna be fun... we moving up in the traffic development world.

Over/under on accidents at the diamond, first week of operation: 38.5

And it will be cheaper and less time to build than a 3rd flyover... so all you haters will have to find something else to complain about.

Give ‘em a minute or two, they’ll find something.

You know it's pretty damn hard to have an accident in this intersection right?

People here are so insistent on showing how little they understand things.

I'll take the under. We put in a DDI a few years ago and it works great. All new diamonds should be DDIs, imo.

Slightly joking with that number.

Could see some people trying to turn left as the road cuts back to the right, or jumping barriers when they are confused how they switch lanes.

Well it was supposed to be completed closer to 4 years... so 3 years is quicker.

Would you prefer they built less efficient interchanges? Cause these designs work very well in the rest of the world (but I'll concede Louisiana drivers suck balls).

No... I'm glad they are doing this. Work better, cheaper, and quicker.

Just more proof that the airport isn't the terrible decision that many O-Ters want to believe.

Theres one near my house in Round Rock

I've seen idiots going the wrong way. Been stopped head on with one. This old broad thought I was the idiot until she saw the 30 cars behind me.

I will say, you definitely move thru the intersection faster. What used to take 3 cycles is now 1
