I'm going to bump this thread when aliens come F your world up, striking us from their nuclear bases on the moon. Hopefully the internet still works long enough for me to post.

It depends how people are using the term "alien life form". I don't believe there are beings walking around on the moon. But undiscovered life forms that may be microscopic and surviving on the moon is easily possible.

And that could qualify as an aliens to us

That reminds of their documentary proving the existence of mermaids.

I had no clue.

This used to scare the shite out of me and keep me up at night.

Now I am still open to it, but don't care nearly as much. If we die... we die.

I'm not going to argue with that; it's possible.

But I do not believe there is any evidence of higher alien intelligence that has visited the moon (or Earth) and left behind structures/evidence of their visit.

I believe that's what they call a crater.

How does this have any relevance?

Sharknado is completely fiction - it's a movie. We're talking about actual photographs of the moon, you know that big satellite that lives in our backyard?

Why does it appear to be perfectly spherical, unlike other craters on the moon? It looks artificial to me.

Breaking news - this photo was just uncovered from NASA's secret files...

We need more complete surveys of these areas. I can't understand why NASA isn't interested with these images.

I don't even know what you are talking about when you say perfectly spherical. Craters tend to be circular. Shadows around craters are going to tend to have circular shapes. It's a grainy, black and white photo from distance. Details are going to tend to run together.

I agree. We need to go back and find out wtf is actually there. I think that we're actually scared to go back because something was discovered, they're keeping something from the population because they don't want to cause mass hysteria.

Thanks Obama.

The moon is constantly being bombarded by meteorites so they do a good job of adding to the space dust on the Moon and making lots of craters, which over time level the surface of the Moon.

This is basically a complex of craters.

Overlapping makes it confusing, but you're seeing the light and shadow play on the neat contours of the Moon. Here's my best guess of the complex of craters, their arrangement, timings, and recreation in full before being leveled:
