I figured I'd drag you 2 tards out with that post 
Im not gonna lie, when I first moved there, that circle blew my mind I enjoyed the outdoors in AP rather than ellick area but thats just me. Im headed back next week, how bout we meet in the parish, ill kick yalls arse and buy yall some prontos after. 2 mayo-2 mustard

There is a newer place downtown called "The Melting Pot" it used to be a night club that turned into a bar. Its a dumb name but they have cheap mid-grade drinks. Some friends and I went out after WinterFete and you could get Woodford's for $6.
Fatboy and Skinny's has $1.50 drafts from 4-7 on week days and Spirits has a happy hour with $3 Blue Moon, Fat Tire and House Wines and $5 mules.
There is plenty to do if you have a good group of friends and put in a little effort.

Why is your interpretation of nightlife college bars? How obtuse are you being? So one should have one foot in the grave when you’re in your 30’s and 40’s? There aren’t adult places that constitute Night life? Seriously, what am I missing here?

I'm from New Orleans, but I've been in Alexandria for 12 years and I love this city. It's an good place to raise children and there's enough to do for anyone. I never understand the bashing of Alexandria.
