Lol, I didn’t support Russia invading you dipshit. Again, you try to make equivocations that make no sense because you can’t seem to grasp certain, simple facts.
You’re for endless war, giving as much money as possible to the military industrial complex, and calling any of your opponents as idiots and traitors. You are that.

If this is what you chalk his actions up to, you might want to get some help or study the facts a bit more

Called you an idiot plenty of times. Never have called anyone a traitor except for actual traitors.

quote:Imagine a high school kid caught on camera staring in the face of an old Native American man. Now Imagine CNN misrepresents what happened and tells its viewers the kid is a racist and was trying to harm the old Native American. CNN and the world learn that initial report by CNN was false, but they are getting good ratings and attention from a bunch of antifa and blue haired lunatics. So instead of correcting their misreporting, they continue it for years. The blue hairs believe it. Antifa threatens, harasses, and assaults the high school kid. And he lives in fear. CNN keeps telling the lies about the kid and the lunatics that watch are sending them money hand over fist.
What gives here...please enlighten me.
The kid fights back and files a lawsuit. CNN refuses to participate in the lawsuit but continues to mock the kid and the court on its airwaves. After rebuking CNN several times and ordering them to participate in the lawsuit, CNN thumbs its nose at the court.
The court enters a default judgement against CNN. Now Imagine the reactions from the posters in this thread.

I don't know if it's been mentioned in this thread yet, but I asked a friend today who is a lawyer about this situation, and apparently he can't avoid the damages by declaring bankruptcy.

You still do. However, if you are accused of a tort and served with process, you have to follow the rules to defend yourself or you may get a default judgment against you.
What cause of action was it he was sued for? Never heard. Defamation is all I can think, but idk what he said that would've caused them economic damage that wasn't true i.e. just his opinion. Intentional infliction of motional distress? I don't remember the elements of that tort.
Also, he did answer and defend, no? I saw a clip from the trial. This wasn't a default judgment.

In her ruling, Bellis criticized Jones’ attorney for providing only “sanitized, inaccurate” financial records and showed “callous disregard” for her repeated rulings to provide complete analytics data. She found Jones’ attorneys actions “were not just careful” but constituted “a pattern of obstructive conduct” requiring the most severe sanction of default, what she called a “last resort,” as reported by the Hartford Courant.
“Neither the court nor the parties can expect perfection when it comes to the discovery process,” Bellis read to the attorneys from her written ruling. “What is required, however, and what all parties are entitled to, is fundamental fairness that the other side produces information which is within their knowledge, possession and power and that the other side meet its continuing duty to disclose additional and new material.”
