That should be on the license plates.

I lived there for most of my life. I have lived in Texas, Florida, and now Tennessee. I prefer all those to Alabama. However, it has good parts and bad like anywhere else. I probably would have a different opinion of Texas if I would have lived in Lubbock or TN if I lived in Memphis.

considering the most racist state in America for over 25 years was Miamisburg, OH.

I am wondering how you came to this conclusion

I don't know who compiles that list, or how it's ranked, but OH is a pretty racist redneck state, PA is up there too, MA can hang too.

I know its racist. Ive lived in ohio for many years. Was more interested in why he stated Miamisburg. I found that kind of funny

yeah, don't know where that's coming from, maybe because it's in Montgomery County?

Anniston, like every other Alabama city, is a shite hole unless you go to rich white peoples homes

That was my first time actually spending time in Anniston, and while it does have its bad parts, I thought it was nice overall. But then again, I am the kind of person that enjoys mountainous scenery.

I agree. Alabama is not bad. Hell, Louisiana is comparable (positives and negatives). I recently spent a week in Auburn. We mainly hung out with friends and played music, but we spent time each day on campus, downtown, and the outlying area. It was very nice.

On our way back, we stopped in one of the nicest/classiest coffee shops I have ever been in: Carpe Diem Coffee and Teas.

And...I was stationed in Anniston in 96 for 2 1/2 months during USMC MP school. It wasn't that bad.

Just take a like at the aftermath of recent disasters. Some cities took to the streets looting everything in sight. Alabamians rolled up their sleeves and helped their neighbors clean up and rebuild. Good people in Alabama indeed.

People from across the state flocked to Tuscaloosa and Birmingham after the tornados to help out. Donations poured in from across the state to the point that they were turning them away for lack of room to store goods. Hell, B$B drove up from Fairhope with a chainsaw.
