AI is just a writedown/ excuse for boards and senior mgmt to justify cuts and spending to meet their own bonuses

I have been using ai for about 6 months to a year now and it makes me immensely more productive. for things like quotes, manuals, coding, etc claude has been well worth the cost for me. I actually just built a skill that can build out a full PLC control panel based on manufacturer part numbers that I give it. It will size it to my standards and build out the whole quote, parts list and layout. Thats something that would take hours before and now done in minutes.
another example is an operations manual for a PLC system. I uploaded only screenshots of the HMI and it built out the full operations manual and it was about 99% right on everything with no context other than the screenshots. That saved probably 8 or more hours of work and did a much better job on the presentation than I would have to be honest.
IMO those that arent using AI will get left behind as they will be less efficient.
