with many of these islands getting butt screwed, i bet i could sell(if i can transfer it) my 8 night trip w/hotel to aruba for a nice price.

A lot of people with trips planned, will now need new destinations and rooms.

That will take years to be back to normal.

I don't doubt it. We were planning a trip to St Maarten next year. Will be searching for a new spot. I'm sure a lot of people are in the same boat.

My trip is planned for Sept 28th of this month, which would raise the price more, since it's last minute shite, and people will be super desperate.

Wife would scream and bitch, but if i can make double or more, i'd do it in a heart beat

I won't do it, it's our Anniversary, and i need a f'in vacation, burnt out.

We have two on the TB with Nov trips to TCI that they will have to switch most likely. I was supposed to be in Anguilla in a week but American canceled the flight (lucky me) so I re-booked to Curacao.

We went several years ago. Two of our favorite places for eating/drinking were the Pirate Bay Beach Club & Restaurant and the Gouverneur Restaurant.

I was going to book a honeymoon to St Thomas/St. John's for January. Cost wise, we decided to go to Cancun. Looks like a good decision now.

My friend said that Jost Van Dyke got destroyed. They loved that place. Sad stuff.

St. John, Jost & the BVIs, and Grace Bay in the Turks & Caicos are some of the greatest places on earth and all took a direct hit. So sad.

Really hope Grace Bay survived for the most part. Those reefs are so shallow.

That is my happy place.

Poor Jost. Basically everything is gone. I'll try to find the GoFundMe for Ivan's Campground if anyone who has been there would like to contribute.
