Grammar takes a back seat to political correctness. I don't blame a group for using "females" to specify sex, instead of "women" which has no concrete meaning anymore. Using the term "women" to apply to group of people opens yourself up for lawsuits for "misgendering."

95% of liberal women are absolutely hideous looking human beings. They’re always dog arse ugly or morbidly obese (or in many cases, both).
There is a reason why they go to the extreme left with their political views. Their entire life has been filled with rejection from men (men who are worth a shite / attractive) and they are filled with bitterness and hate because of it. They despise attractive women because they receive all of the attention. Therefor they go to the extreme to get that attention and try to make themselves feel important.
The sad thing is that not all of them are a lost cause. If they would change their attitude and half-arse attempt to stay in decent shape they could live a happy life. Instead they choose the bitter feminist, SJW route.

But hey, misgendering isn't a thing, and that's totes not why groups would move to use "female" instead of "women".
