Just watched the video. Col. Stenger is 342 training squadron commander.
That totally sucks this trainee did this.
ETA: Just got word is was a SOWT trainee who received discharge papers and killed the SOWT commander there out of anger.

Meh. I find it more crazy that some of you think he's lying. It's like, where the frick have you been? Certainly since 2003 it's pretty common, but even before we've been fighting 10 wars on 30 different fronts, it's always been an issue. There were several domestic issues at Fort Polk over the 18 years I lived in that area where an entire family would be shot in a murder suicide + the soldier that was fricking the shooters wife. I know it happens a lot at Hood and Benning as well. I'm not keeping score, but I know I've heard of this type of thing happen in the double digits over the past 5 years or so.
