No they are pretty accurate actually. Not everyone is good at standardized testing but there is a reason it has been around for as long as it has. A lot of my buddies in high school that weren't to bright didn't score well, while my friends that were smart did score well. Go figure. Sorry bud. Maybe not accurate as to how "smart" they are but pretty accurate as to how prepared they are coming out of high school.
At least it's a hell of a lot better to use as a barometer (most of the time) over their high school GPA and/or how charming of a smile they have.
