This is a shameful statement.

I think you underestimate the surrounding, rural parishes in the metro area that would depend on EBR hospitals should there be a need of hospital stays, particularly ICU beds.

You're looking at north of 800k in the BR Metro area.

Then again, spread would likely be slowed in the less populated areas, too.

The entire parish showed up to that block party at Tracey's, right?

False, I didn't attend.

Don't worry, BAW, no one wants to go to bumfrick Monroe.

He should welcome Corona spreading over there. Living in Monroe is just a slow, painful death anyway. I'm just kidding for any of you Monroe residents on here.

Well it’s about time the Hard Rock is finally coming down.

850K in the Baton Rouge metro area - including places like Pointe Coupee, Livingston, Ascension, etc. that don't have a robust ICU like those that exist at BRG or OLOL.

Luckily, there aren't as many cases in that area. Orleans parish has the overwhelming majority of cases.

CNN)Two days after announcing coronavirus cases were climbing at a frightening clip -- notably in two parishes that make up most of metro New Orleans -- Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards made a plea for a major disaster declaration Tuesday.

Follow the money.

JBE: The fool who used the fear of shutting down LSU football unless LA residents agreed to more taxes? Frick him and his fear tactics... it’s truly sad that Louisiana has no one better to lead this great state!!!!

A lot of the northern part of EBRP is still fairly rural.
