Black girl I work with told me a story about being on SA. She was sitting in front of two other black women who were loud and ghetto.. Cursing and talking in graphic details about times with their baby daddies..
She said she was embarrassed first then got pissed because she was sitting with her 5y/o daughter.. Said it was just like being on Soul Plane...

I've never had an issue with Spirit...
I've flown with them 20+ times and I've never had a delay or canceled flight. I've always brought only a booksack and my headphones. Seats are small and the only issue I had is I had to sit by a guy who had a BO problem. Could have had the issue on any flight really.

Spirit bought/leased a bunch of new planes so thy re on time 83% of the time. Better than a bunch of legacy carriers.
For a direct 3 hour or less flight for a weekend, it works well.

2 main problems with spirit:
Smallest seats
They don’t have reserve planes, if yours needs maintenance, you wait or find another way home.
I have had good and horrible experiences with them and likely won’t be flying with them again

I’ve flown Spirit many times and never had a problem.
