Dead guy had major mental issues and she stood there and instigated the situation knowing the dude was not stable.

Orange shirt was a meth head who had just gotten out of jail. He was obviously high. Retreating would have probably evoked an attack.
Why did Box not use her phone to call the police instead of recording. Assuming the police had already been called, they took their own sweet time. I would like to know when 911 was called and what the response time was.
It wouldn’t be the first time they relied on a civilian to solve a problem child for them.

Facts of the case.
Orange shirt was a meth head recenly released from jail.
Orange shirt was the one who dumped the box spring. Not the dynamic duo. He and his girlfriend had thrown the mattress there days earlier. The dynamic duo took it off the trash pile and returned it to orange shirt’s yard. Later, orange shirt put it back on the trash. Dynamic duo walked out to stop him. They took their guns for safety because he was known to become violent.
Orange shirt was not married.
Orange shirt had no children there. Those were his brother’s kids.
Orange shirt produced a bat at some point.
You can not see what orange shirt is doing once girlfriend is between the men.
Texas laws are probably different from your state laws.
Abilene is in Texas. Yes really.

Didnt know Aaron was a meth head. I might have figured heroin or alcoholism...but this now makes more sense. And his recent wide open FB page is a loooooooooong and winded post about how he wants to kill the mailman. For him to write that much, he was either on meth or a shite ton of adderall.

Guy in orange made several direct death threats and then went and got a bat. Old guy defended him self. Tons of fun didn't shoot until guy in orange threw the bat at his dad.
