It's a nice haircut.

Now people can immediately recognize your limitations without you even needing to speak.

Idolizing a politician is the weirdest thing I think I have ever encountered. It is possible to admire a select few but at the end of the day they are all carnival hucksters who have a loose at best relationship with honesty and integrity. They may be fine people, salt of the earth, away from the job but at work they are not by any measure decent human beings.

Your post may have been sarcasm but far too many people worship politicians in this country on both sides of the aisle.

What about present-day Axl Rose?

Man, that dude has been looking rough for a while now.

I agree 100%

But it can go to the extreme the other way also. I can say I agree with something Trump does and not worship him, just like I can disagree with something he does, and not be a libtard.

Leftists and "reasoned moderates" are the most humorless assholes around.

Cult like behavior

Having a President who's actually doing the vast majority of what he was elected to do has a way of exciting people.

We are at a point in our history where one side of the political spectrum would rather see a President fail than see America succeed under him. To me, THAT sounds more like a doomsday cult.

It's an infantile stance that provides a false sense of security and safety for the lesser thinkers amongst us

Funny how that never seems to be your stance when you reply to someone criticizing Trump though.

I smell some bullshite.

This used to kind of be the standard....we did not have to be ideologically in lockstep with a politician because to be so meany you had to be dishonest and lacking integrity yourself...but you could find some common ground. Not anymore - if they ain't ideologically pure, and no one is, they are the enemy and need to be eliminated. I did not vote for Trump but he has done some things I was supportive of. I like the idea of reasonable tariffs, for example. What has been proposed is not reasonable but it also not what is going to happen.

Good post. Fwiw, I’ll argue for or against Trump’s ideas on political board. On the other boards I take all this much less seriously. In real life I seldom if ever discuss politics but I’ve always tried to be that way. Back in my Clinton years (most of my 20s) I would discuss it but lost interests in my 30s. In my 50s now. I joke around on here a lot but I have many friends who are liberals and conservatives, same with family, love them all.
