A Thread for Single Men (nofap, "red pill", female games, etc.)

There was a thread on here years ago about nofap. A poster talked about benefits he saw with nofap for months. I experimented and I also got some benefits. It's hard to really say nofap was the cause, but all I know is that whenever I abstain from fapping for a good amount of time, good things start happening.
I don't usually like to give advice, but if I were going to give a young man advice, I would tell him to experiment with this, but also be careful. Females are often much better at playing games and being deceptive than men are. A man might have heightened/sharper instincts for this if he hasn't come for some time, but that may be overridden by the drive to come.
The video below is relatively long, and comes from a rather extreme (MGTOW) perspective, but this guy is on-point about some stuff.

I disagree with the video, because the opposite is true. Men are usually better at compartmentalizing than women. Men compartmentalize everything about their lives into “work life”, “family life”, “love life”, etc. It’s like we divide everything into boxes, which we can only open one at a time.
Women on the other hand can’t understand this. Everything about their lives is woven together and cannot be compartmentalized in this fashion. It drives them crazy that men do that.

I think it's more based on the individual. I wouldn't generalize along gender lines in the way the guy in the video does. But this is more about just "love life" than the other aspects you mentioned.
When guys do compartmentalize more broadly like you're talking about, females will often start looking elsewhere. And in my opinion, they are better at doing this (secretively) than males are.

We did no fap November this past year. It works for a couple weeks and you do feel great until you hit the wall about 20 days in and ever single girl is a 10 and you walk around with your mind on that nonstop

I lost track of the days, but my senses around women were extremely heightened. At somewhere around 40+ days, I literally had a nocturnal emission.

Along with that idea of men often being more singular in their focus, I've heard that Thinking-Ape guy talk about the differences in emotion between men and women and how it sort of gets portrayed oppositely in popular culture, movies, etc. I've even heard him talk about the idea of women not even being capable of actually loving a man. I don't know how true that is, but I do think men are actually capable of a deeper, more authentic love for a woman, where what women often call "love" is more of a fickle feeling of "loving" what a man can do for her. There may be a deep biological basis for this which has been muddled for various reasons.

If that's something you're worried about, you could take supplements (saw palmetto, activated charcoal, etc.) and/or do some cleanses during the time you're not fapping.

That’s a bit extreme. I think he was referring to how women generallly by default want better end of the deal in mate selection. Women want mate who’s has more resources, status, better genetics(good looking). By getting all 3, they can produce healthier better looking offsprings while having resources to take care of her and the offsprings.
So with that, men are basically walking utilities to women. So if you don’t have any of those big 3(looks, money, status), women in general won’t give you the time.
This basically comes from reproductive fact that sperm is cheap. If you have 1 guy and 100 women in a tribe, he can knock them all up. If you have 100 guys and 1 woman, you can only reproduce 1 offspring at a time. So in a tribe of 50 men and 50 women, the men has to bring something extra to the table (the big 3) in order to qualify themselves as a potential mate since sperms are plentyful. This is why men compete. It’s so they can climb the dominate hierarchy. The higher they are, the more likely that women will choose them. That’s why more women are able to reproduce than men. It’s a fascinating topic.

Women generally need to be taken care of more for biological reasons (pregnancy, they're generally not as strong as men physically, etc.), so if you clear away expectations and cultural ideas of "love" generally associated with women, it actually seems biologically reasonable for women to be on the lookout for a better deal. Even if they just do it subconsciously, while valuing loyalty consciously. This biological reasoning would also seem to explain why many women like the kind of sex they do.
For these biological reasons, it seems to make sense that men would have a greater ability for "love" of a woman (for the actual person as opposed to opportunistic love).
