The final confrontation by the old Lordon McFerman (or whatever) building - was it entirely fictional?

Eh it's just chatGPT. I told it to write a film noir parody story about tailgate theft featuring characters from the OT lounge and that's what it spat out.

Can I just rent the movie when it comes out ? I don’t like reading epic tales.

You seem like a nice guy Freeman. Here’s some simple, unsolicited advice.

Learn how and when to drop the mic.

Creative writing isn’t easy I envy you or anyone who can do that. You nailed the 1950’s detective novel or film noir script.

Got all the innuendo and enjoyed it.

Kudos to you.

Better than being a bike thief? A little shoehorned but I thought you'd enjoy the over the top nature. And if you paid attention, your fate is uncertain...

I don't have any future plans but didn't want to kill you off Hobo

It was written in a completely hamfisted, over the top style by design. No part of this was serious.
"They said in unison, together."
"up on Cripple Creek, he sends me. O'Weelo."
"Dick Long dickered with his dick double, who dealt Dickens,"

Trying to tap into a naked gun feel a bit. The mistakes were intentional.

Never written in the style before so figured I'd stuff what I could into the story, and it came out. Lots of OT service.

I think my favorite joke in the whole thing was "Gin Rummy, who sold Bourbon."

Glad someone did. It was a labor of love. Enough people seemed to enjoy the first part it seemed a shame not to follow through on my original premise.

I was the savior of the story, I’m good with it

Eta: The running Rummy joke was funny and the Madamesquirrel lines were damn funny
