A shoe shine made fun of my shoes

I was waiting outside establishment for someone and a shoeshine walked up.
“Yo man, need a shoeshine,” he said.
“Nope,” I said.
He looks at my year old in pretty damn good shape boat shoes. “No fricking wonder. You obviously don’t take care of your shoes.” And he walks off.
I spent the next 5 minutes starring at my shoes wondering if I indeed didn’t take care of my shoes. And I do. frick that guy.
This may/is an awful thread but at least it’s getting this site back on track.

I’ve only had one person ever offer me a shoeshine and I was wearing some sneakers that I only wear when I am working out or know that I am going to be out walking most of the day.

That's just sad, Baw. That's like the guys on here who like cargo shorts but will not wear them because some of the other queers don't like cargo shorts.
