The fact that you think so much about it, tells me that you rely on online dating (or else you wouldn't get so frustrated about the men not being to your specifications.)

I certainly am. I'm not looking for a mess that I get to try and pick up the pieces. Those are basically another bill to pay. On top of that, I love to travel and would like to find someone to experience different places with. A vacation out of country is a test on a relationship. I messed up and brought a gf to Paris one time. Terrible decision.

I do think a lot about it, but don't rely on it as my only way of meeting people. i am active in the community and have a lot of friends, so it's more to supplement the people I am already meeting out and about. But yes, I do like to think about it - how people use it, why they choose to post what they do, how they communicate etc. Considering the psychology behind online dating is interesting. Aziz Ansari cowrote 'Modern Romance.' Pretty good read.

whats wrong with online dating?

Perfect way to weed out shite easier than in other settings and COMPLETELY opens up the dating pool much more than having to go to your local dive bar or trying to pick through mates at your local church. frick only having those limited options.

Online dating means weeding through too much bullshite. Meeting people isn't difficult.

I didn't read through all that bullshite.

Women are way worse. I've been on several dates when the girl looks fine in her pics, she talks about running with her dog and going to the gym, yet when I meet them, looks like they haven't been to a fricking gym ever.

For me it is becoming more of a necessity. Houma, LA has a terrible dating pool for what I look for. Nola and BR are better but I can't physically be there as much.

which isn't really hard. Literally you can click on an app for 5-10 min a day and frick off and it completely opens up your dating pool exponentially.

no it's not, I've never had a problem with it. People on this board can attest to me being probably overly social.... and that can transition over to digitally meeting people as well

I've done both online and more traditional means of meeting women

There really is no difference other than quantity

I can't believe people still place a stigma on online dating in 2017. I'd say the vast majority are over 35+

ETA: or unfortunate looking

In my experience, most sellers are liars. You learn the code after a while but it's still hit and miss.

- quit using Snapchat filters - full body pic and quit calling fat curvy - admit to having kids if you have them - you are not a writer/model/musician/artist, you are a blogger that takes pics of her food and sings while doing laundry, your friends probably tell you you are good though - quit using quotes from chick flicks as your about me - I get it, you like pizza, tacos, and puppies - quit using the terms pansexual, sapiosexual and Other weird shite - you are not a mermaid, shut up - you are not a gypsy soul, you just like vacations - have a real job - despite what your profile says, there actually are other girls like you - using just emoticons instead of actual words in your profile is fricking stupid - grow the frick up
