Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't feel that rhetoric. Just seemed like an illustration of how much a billion dollars is, which is hard to fathom - even for those of us who are financially astute (I'm including you and I in that group)

And even if Elon and other mega-billionaires are not fully liquid, just being liquid a small portion of their empire is almost unspendable at that level.

I would invest whatever it took to buy a national championship, for LA Tech. Just one, then pull all funding after that.
