People fly without ID all the time (usually lost or stolen ID situations like this). Just make sure she gets to the airport very early.
This . . . My wife realized she forgot her id on a trip to NYC when we arrived at MSY. We had no problem getting on flights or military base. However she was highly scrutinized by security when we went to watch the Dave Letterman show!

A few years ago MSY would not let my wife use the LA Wallet for identification

You can fly without an ID, just expect to have the following

I'd probably pull up anything she can on her phone beforehand to make this easier. Maybe a work ID, something that has her picture? Just saw the TN issue, make sure she knows both addresses for the license and current address in Nola

Don’t Have Your Acceptable ID? The TSA officer may ask you to complete an identity verification process which includes collecting information such as your name and current address to confirm your identity. If your identity is confirmed, you will be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint, where you may be subject to additional screening. You will not be allowed to enter the security checkpoint if you choose to not provide acceptable identification, you decline to cooperate with the identity verification process, or your identity cannot be confirmed.

I have a photo of my ID and Ins card in my emails and photos. Moving forward I would suggest this for your friend.

Probably, but she should speak to someone at the airport first. Each situation is unique.

No problem they'll just pat her down and do the occasional cavity search and she'll be fine

Yep.

Happened to me last year flying BNA-DAL. Had to fill out a short from and answer a couple of questions with a TSA supervisor. One of the questions was what cars I had registered in my name. They already knew the answer.

She showed up 5 hours early. It took an hour to clear TSA and the flight was delayed so she had to sit in Atl for 5 hours.
