They've cleared a lot of wooded areas to build a new children's hospital and a few hotels across the street. I'm sure that's probably where it came from.

Why did they put it down when surgery department is right down the hall? They could have saved it's life. Hell, they did a procedure on a tiger.

As I understand, poor fella got hit by a car on Essen and bolted. Came barreling through the door and up the escalator. Was bleeding from the mouth, probably lots of internal injuries
It's sad when you think about it. Probably terrible pain and total panic, and it happened to blast into the one area it could have been saved... it was literally right in the surgery waiting area.
It was probably just too busy to take such an off-the-wall case. But I bet you anything, a couple of trauma residents would have been willing to stabilize it, if you let them.
Would have been a neat story, for sure.
