Time flys. Long live Harambe
quote:
Harambe was a 17-year-old, 450-lb western lowland gorilla who lived at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. On May 28, 2016, a 3-year-old boy climbed into Harambe's enclosure. Harambe grabbed and dragged the boy, standing over him and examining his clothes. After about 10 minutes, fearing for the child's safety, zoo officials shot and killed Harambe

They must’ve been all out of tranquilizer darts

Harambe was more civilized than a lot of today’s..: oh, you know.

Finding the whole Harambe thing amusing must be generational, and I’m a little older. Is there anything clever about it? I mean I get that people are pretending in a light hearted way that they’re upset. What else is it?

One of the most impressive species on Earth was killed due to the actions of supposedly more intelligent species due to no action of it's own.

Okay but its life was valued less than the child it held. That’s not bad or surprising. It’s very reasonable.

If you remove all emotion, yes.

Harambe died for our memes

It is upsetting. He was killed by morons bc of stupidity of a human. The kid’s parents should have been fined heavily. They should have been watching their son. Odd they didn’t dart the gorilla vs kill.
